Povidone-iodine is a powerful broad-spectrum disinfectant and has a strong killing effect on viruses, bacteria, fungi and mold spores. This product has little skin irritation, low toxicity and lasting effect. Safe and easy to use. Basically non-irritating to tissues, it is used for skin and mucous membrane disinfection, such as cleaning before surgery, disinfection of surgical sites and wounds. Easily soluble in water or ethanol, the aqueous solution is acidic and insoluble in ether, chloroform, acetone, ethane and carbon tetrachloride.
